This is your typical battery used for your BIOS / CMOS inside your computer. Many other electronic devices and gadgets also use these batteries.

If you find your computer’s time and date are not set correctly, especially after you turn off your computer, your CMOS battery is more than likely faulty. This is especially true if your computer brought up a message saying the CMOS battery is low, CHECKSUM ERROR, or simply asking you to ENTER SETUP.

You get 1x standard brand new replacement CR2032 3.0 Volt Coin Cell battery, fits almost every motherboard on the market, although be sure to check first.
